High in Montana’s rugged, snow-covered Northern Rockies, a little town called Big Sky offers deep snow, steep verticals, and expansive vistas for guests at the Stillwater Condos, located just 250 yards from the nearest lifts. The comfortable 23-unit complex is a quick two- or three-minute walk from the lifts, and every 30 minutes a Big Sky shuttle will zip guests to any point in the village, all day long. After a day spent on the slopes or exploring the surrounding wilderness, relax in front of the fireplace and cook up a hearty meal in the condo’s full kitchens. Guests have use of facilities at nearby Huntley Lodge, which offers a spa, hot tub, pool, and restaurant.

Yellowstone National Park - 20 miles Bozeman Gallatin Field Airport (BZN): Approximate driving time is 1 hour and distance is 50 miles. Driving directions from Bozeman Gallatin Field Airport: From Gallatin Field airport, follow signs for SR-85/Jackrabbit Rd heading south and drive for 7.5 miles. Get onto US-191/Gallatin Dr and continue south for 34 miles. Turn right onto Big Sky Rd and follow signs for the resort. Stillwater Condos are at the mountain village near the ski slopes.

Each of the condos comes equipped with a full kitchen. If you do not choose to cook, there are several dining options within walking distance, the nearest of which is one-tenth of a mile away. Guests have access to services at nearby Huntley Lodge, which offers two restaurants.

Stillwater Condos offer a great ski-in/ski-out option for ski and snowboard enthusiasts. Outdoor tennis courts and a play area for kids are extra perks. In addition to the full kitchen and home-away-from-home amenities of condo lodging, guests at Stillwater have access to the services and amenities at nearby Huntley Lodge. Huntley’s amenities include a concierge, grocery store, restaurants, lounge, hot tub, Jacuzzi, game room, and outdoor pool. The whole condo complex is non-smoking.

In addition to offering some of the best downhill skiing and snowboarding on the continent (Big Sky features one of the biggest lift-serviced vertical drops in the United States), there are fantastic cross-country trails in the area and, in summer, the hiking and fishing are superb. As an extra bonus, Yellowstone National Park is only 20 minutes away. Visit in the summer or take advantage of a winter tour to experience the wonders of the park without the warm-weather crowds.
